Created by the South African-born entrepreneur, Chef Hugo Uys, CHUT UP came out of a want to eat healthy food that could stand up to the real deal. After noticing friends and family slathering unhealthy condiments on top of dishes made of high-quality ingredients, he knew there must be a better option. 

 

Using great ingredients and South African-inspired taste profiles, we’ve created the next pantry must-have, and something that doesn’t mask your food, it elevates it.

All of this from just Hugo? Not exactly. We're a small and growing family at CHUT UP. Sarah Payton handles marketing development, Bryan Janeczko oversees retail strategy and operations, Candie Velasco provides creative direction and Naveen Duwadi creates content and strategy.
